Day one is almost in the books...I wont say its officially in the books til I am tucked into bed. I still have my worst time of day to get through...the hour or so after supper when we are watching tv. So here's what I am going to do...every time I get the urge to go and graze or find an unsupportive snack, I am going to force myself to do 10 pushups and /or 20 sit ups. If I need to use this little trick I will video it and post it here;)
So today went well overall. I packed my food for the day and stuck to it. The only additional thing I ate that wasnt part of my plan was 1/4 cup raisins. LOVE raisins and they help with the sweets cravings.
For exercise I went for a 2+mile walk/ run with some lovely colleagues of mine. Granted it was more a walk than a run but holy smokes can those ladies walk!! My legs will be feeling it in the morning. It was so nice to have someone to walk with! I miss that. It was great.
I am super proud of my partner Lisa for posting her measurements. I think that was more brave than posting pics...I may have to work up the courage for that. Anyway, awesome job Lisa:) I got some wonderful feedbakc and support from friends about this little adventure we are undertaking. They may not realize it but their words and support mean so much to me. I dont think we share those sentiments enough with one another. But to those of you who have written or spoken your support recently, I sincerely appreciate it.
